Odion Ighalo has just some days left on his Man Utd contract.


Odion Ighalo's loan deal expires at the end of this month and Man Utd Coach has given an update on the future of the striker at the club.

Manchester United boss Solskjaer has given an update on the potential departure of Nigerian striker although he can extend his loan stay at Old Trafford according to the news no confirmation on the agreement has been reached by the two clubs, with the striker's deal going to expire in some days.

The Nigerian born ManUtd forward signed for the Reds on the final day of the January transfer window on a short loan deal until the end of May, although thee current football campaign supposes to have ended.

However, the postponement of all game fixtures due to coronavirus pandemic, the Red forward Ighalo have managed to play only eight games for ManU in all competitions and as the case
maybe he is set to leave the club at the end of the week.

The Red Devils would have like to retain the player at the club, according to the new premier league rules permit, but his Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua are keen to have the player back before the start of the Chinese Super League in the coming season.

Although ManUtd coach has confirmed that the two clubs are still in talks over the future of the player but no agreement has been reached and the deal deadline is coming closer.

The Nigerian international is eager to end his football career at his boyhood club but ManUtdFC Blog understands that ManU has not initiated any negotiations to keep the player at the club on a permanent basis.

It is understood that the Chinese club Shenhua is keen to keep Ighalo at the club by offering him an extended deal which worth around £400,000 a week in other to boost their squad.

Manchester United squads are back with good fitness and full strength ahead of the potential resume of the premier league in June with the likes of Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford back from injury.
