Bad news for Chelsea with Real Madrid set to welcome back three star players ahead of first-leg

According to El Chiringuito TV, Real Madrid will welcome back three first-team players from injury ahead of their Champions League semi-final first-leg match against Chelsea.

Although Liverpool has had its fair share of injury issues this season, they must have thought their luck was changing as Real Madrid's players started to drop like flies ahead of their Champions League match.

Even a weakened Real Madrid side proved too strong for the Premier League champions, with Los Blancos progressing to the next round with a 3-1 aggregate scoreline after a 0-0 draw at Anfield on Wednesday night.

Chelsea is next on the chopping block, with Thomas Tuchel's improved Blues facing Real Madrid in the Champions League for the first time, with a spot in the final on the line for the victor.

Real Madrid will not be as battered and beaten as they were against Liverpool, according to El Chiringuito TV, with Eden Hazard, Raphael Varane, and Dani Carvajal all expected to return from injury in time.

Hazard will be hoping against hope that he will stay fit and start to create some momentum ahead of his return to West London. A strong showing against his former club would be the ideal way to begin his Real Madrid career.

Chelsea, on the other hand, will be hoping that Real Madrid suffers more selection problems between now and the first leg, which is scheduled for Tuesday, April 27th.
