Barcelona have four players Manchester United may accept in Paul Pogba swap deal

In this summer's transfer window, Barcelona could make a move for Manchester United's Paul Pogba.

Prior to the summer transfer window, Barcelona has emerged as a possible suitor for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.

The France international has expressed interest in moving to Catalonia, according to his agent Mino Raiola. So, with the La Liga giants' finances hit hard by the coronavirus crisis, Express Sport will take a look at four players who may be of interest to the Red Devils in a swap deal.

Fati Ansu

Ansu Fati is a player Barcelona does not want to lose.

However, he is a player who would pique United's interest, as the club was linked with him earlier this summer. Fati had been in fantastic form for Barcelona before injury cruelly interfered and ended his season.

And he's undoubtedly one of the most exciting prospects in world football, as well as a player who suits Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's ideal profile. Fati would most likely not be offered to United, but he would still be of interest.

Ousmane Dembele

The France international is capable of greatness, but he has left a lot to be desired in Catalonia far too much.

United, on the other hand, are huge fans of the former Borussia Dortmund forward, who scored the game-winning goal against Real Valladolid on Monday night.

So, if Barcelona offered a swap involving Dembele and Pogba, the Red Devils could only agree.

Dembele will play on United's right-wing, a position where they've struggled since Cristiano Ronaldo left for Real Madrid in 2009.

Griezmann, Antoine

Antoine Griezmann was on the verge of joining United in the summer of 2017, shortly after the Red Devils won the Europa League.

Jose Mourinho, on the other hand, was unable to participate due to Atletico Madrid's transfer ban.

Griezmann has remained linked with United in the interim, with the club's management praising the 2018 World Cup winner for a long time.

Despite his struggles with Barcelona, he'll be an appealing name for Solskjaer's hand.

United's frontline would benefit from Griezmann's versatility, and if they could bring him back to his best, they'd be onto a winner.

Lenglet, Clement

Clement Lenglet could be sold by Barcelona this summer.

The France international has struggled for consistency this season and was seen weeping in his car after a draw with Cadiz earlier in the campaign.

United can also consider Lenglet if Barcelona puts his name forward for Pogba negotiations.

Solskjaer has stated that he wants to sign a new center-back this summer, implying that he does not trust Axel Tuanzebe or Eric Bailly. As a result, Lenglet would make sense in that situation.

Pogba and Solskjaer

Despite reports linking Pogba with a move to Barcelona, Solskjaer made it clear last week that he wanted the midfielder to remain at United.

'Throughout his time at Man United, Paul has always wanted the best for the club,' the Norwegian said. "On and off the field, he's been a vital member of the team.'

'Paul is a player we want to see play well for Man United. He'll be crucial to us even though he's only been fit for the last two months.

'We know he can make the difference between winning by a large margin or advancing to the next round in Europe, as we did against AC Milan.

'Right now, the emphasis is on finishing the season well, and Paul is aware of my thoughts.'
