Man Utd have financial power to sign £50million midfield upgrade – Report

Since the summer transfer window of 2018, when Fred was purchased, Manchester United has not sufficiently improved their midfield.

If stories in the media are to be believed, Manchester United is one of the clubs involved in recruiting Eduardo Camavinga.

According to The Athletic, few clubs can afford to sign the Ligue 1 midfielder, but Man Utd has the financial means to do so.

According to the reputable outlet, the Old Trafford club will profit from luring a high-energy playmaker, who would be a significant improvement over Matic and Fred.

The 18-year-old boy is very good at ball retention, link-up action, as well as driving and dribbling, according to the comprehensive study. On the other side, he is a fantastic tackler who excels at disrupting the opposition's attacks.

Camavinga's current contract with Rennes expires next year, and estimates suggest he will cost around £50 million to replace (The Daily Express).

Under Didier Deschamps' tutelage, the teen midfielder has already made his France debut and scored in his country's second game.

A specialist defensive midfielder is needed by the Red Devils. Nemanja Matic, a Serbian international, used to be a world-class player for Chelsea, but he has never been able to perform consistently for Manchester United.

The former Benfica midfielder is past his prime, and he will turn 33 in August, but he has mostly sat on the bench this season.

If Manchester United spent £50 million on Eduardo Camavinga, he may be a top replacement.
