Man Utd make addition to Europa League squad as forgotten man returns to training

On Thursday night, the Red Devils face Granada in the second leg of their Europa League quarter-final, with a 2-0 lead from the first leg in Spain.

Manchester United has signed another young talent to their Europa League squad ahead of the second leg of their quarter-final against Granada.

During the season, UEFA competition clubs can add as many players under the age of 21 to their 'B list,' with Red Devils forward Anthony Elanga making the bench for the 2-0 win at Granada in the first leg after being added to the list in the days leading up to the game.

has been called up, with the Manchester-born defender possibly set for a place in the matchday squad against the La Liga outfit.

Fish has progressed through the United youth system, captaining the Under-16s and briefly playing for the Under-18s before establishing himself as a regular in the Under-23s, captaining them on seven of his 17 appearances in Premier League 2 this season.

United has given the tall defender the No.48 jersey, and he will expect to be in the squad on Thursday, with team captain Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw, and others suspended.

After all three were booked in the first leg, Scott McTominay took the lead.

Under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, the England international hasn't appeared for the club this season and has become something of a forgotten man.

Jones, who has been included in both the Premier League and Europa League squads this season, did not practice with the main group as they prepared for Thursday's match, instead of training separately with fitness trainers in the hope of returning before the season's end.
