Official: Barcelona squad list for El Clasico is out

With a head-to-head race in the Spanish league, the Catalans will have the chance to take the lead and hope that Atletico Madrid loses points against Real Betis on Sunday.

Despite reservations about his availability, Gerard Piqué has been added to the squad list after receiving medical clearance.

Whether he gets minutes would most likely rely on how the game develops, but Koeman does not appear to be willing to endanger the 34-year-old as a starter.

Sergi Roberto, who has been out for some time due to injury, has also obtained medical clearance and will fly to Madrid with the rest of the squad.

Barcelona has been in incredible form lately, but so has Real Madrid, which won the Champions League quarter-finals 3-1 against Premier League giants Liverpool on Tuesday.
