Thomas Tuchel told he has found his best Chelsea XI after Timo Werner decision

Chelsea thrashed Crystal Palace 4-1 on Saturday, and Owen Hargreaves claims that Thomas Tuchel has decided on his starting lineup, with no space for Timo Werner.

After Saturday's 4-1 victory over Crystal Palace, former Bayern Munich and Manchester United midfielder Owen Hargreaves believes Thomas Tuchel has finally found his perfect Chelsea starting lineup.

The Blues won the game thanks to goals from Kai Havertz, Kurt Zouma, and a Christian Pulisic double, with a dominant first half being the secret to the win.

Havertz, who arrived from Bayer Leverkusen last summer in a deal worth up to £70 million, delivered a long-awaited result.

Hargreaves believes that when N'Golo Kante returns, Tuchel would have decided on his best lineup, based on the dynamics on display at Selhurst Park. Timo Werner will be out of the starting XI as a result.

Hargreaves told Premier League Productions, "These guys look like they had something.'

'And I believe that if [N'Golo] Kante replaces Jorginho, that will be his strongest team for a while.' Timo [Werner] is a fantastic player, but he seems to be lacking in confidence. When these guys are there, they seem to gel and be linked.

'So, when it works, you have to hand it over to the boys and let them find it out.' Timo, I believe he's had bad luck and will rebound, but these guys seem to have chemistry right now.'
