MANCHESTER UNITED TARGETS £77M FOR JADON SANCHO AND FIVE ADDITIONAL PLAYERS - PAPER ROUND

According to the Daily Mail, Manchester United is interested in signing Jadon Sancho this summer and hopes that a bid of about £77 million would be enough to persuade Borussia Dortmund to sell their 21-year-old wide player.

They may also be interested in Erling Haaland, Sancho's teammate, as well as Yves Bissouma, Jack Grealish, Harry Kane, and Raphael Varane.

Manchester United will also be associated with some of the game's biggest stars, with Jadon Sancho, a long-term goal, reportedly returning to the club's radar.

The Red Devils pursued the Borussia Dortmund midfielder over the summer but encountered a stumbling block in talks with the German club, who declined to budge on their £100 million valuations.

According to BILD, United now hopes to sign him for around £77 million with two years left on his contract.

If they get their man and pay the hefty price, they will find it difficult to finance more moves, despite Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's desire to strengthen his team through multiple positions.

United is poised to finish the season strongly and secure second place, but they will need to fix a variety of issues if they want to be among the teams vying for the title with City next season.

However, club legend Gary Neville suggests that now that Edinson Cavani has signed a new contract, they can just concentrate on getting Sancho over the top.

However, supporters argue that the club should not rest on its laurels, with many emphasizing the need for Harry Maguire to have a strong center-back partner, more depth in central midfield, and a striker capable of scoring 20 goals or more per season.

Sportsmail looks at the players who might still be Manchester United's top goals this season as they pursue Sancho.
