Mikel Arteta says Arsenal have just one truly ‘phenomenal’ player in their ranks


Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has praised winger Nicolas Pepe, calling his work ethic "phenomenal" and saying he's come a long way in the last few months.



The 25-year-old scored a vital away goal for Arsenal in their Europa League loss to Villarreal, adding to an impressive Europa League campaign.


Pepe, who scored from the penalty spot in the second half, has now scored six goals and given four assists in the European competition, more than any other player.
