Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirms Man Utd starlet will make his debut against Wolves

Hannibal Mejrbi will make his Manchester United debut against Wolves on Sunday, according to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

United enter the final day of the Premier League season with little to play for, having already finished second to champions Manchester City.

However, with the Europa League final against Villarreal on May 26 approaching, Solskjaer is expected to make significant changes to his starting XI, with several youngsters expected to be granted game time.

Solskjaer revealed at a press conference on Friday that Amad Diallo and Anthony Elanga were given starts in the recent loss to Leicester City.

Shola Shoretire, who made his senior debut against Newcastle United earlier this season, will also see some action.

Mejbri's first-team debut was postponed due to injury, but the highly-rated midfielder, who was named United's reserve team player of the season this week, will get his chance to shine at Molineux on Sunday.

‘They've had nice seasons,' said Solskjaer. 'They're both of them. Hannibal and Shola will also be involved.

Maybe we should have some time with them.' We want to go into the [Europa League] final with a lot of energy but also confidence, so we'll rotate some players on Sunday.

‘We want to enjoy it while also giving a few minutes to anyone who might need it before the final.' If he gets any minutes on Sunday, Mejbri will become Solskjaer's 15th player to make his senior United debut.
