Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang makes summer transfer decision

Despite the numerous rumors surrounding a number of his teammates, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has confirmed that he has no plans to leave Arsenal this summer.

As many as seven senior Arsenal players have been confirmed to want to leave the club this summer in recent days.

David Luiz, Willian, Bernd Leno, Granit Xhaka, Hector Bellerin, Alexandre Lacazette, and Lucas Torreira all make the list, whether you believe the stories or not.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is one high-profile player who does not. According to The Guardian, Aubameyang is not one of the players searching for greener pastures, and he has no plans to pursue a career elsewhere.

The 31-year-old has clearly not had the best season in an Arsenal shirt. He's just up to 15 goals in all competitions with a couple of games left.

This is a significant decrease from his previous two full seasons in North London, where he scored 31 and 29 goals, respectively.

Much of this has been due to a couple of injuries, a bout with malaria, and the team just not having enough scoring chances for the striker.

Even in a poor year, he's just one goal contribution behind club leader Alexandre Lacazette.

It's not like the 31-year-old is in bad shape right now. He set up the winner against Chelsea, scored and set up the winner against Newcastle, and I'd say he was unfortunate not to score against Villarreal, having hit the crossbar twice from half-chances.

Personally, I believe he has plenty to offer next season and would welcome his return.
