Real Madrid, Manchester United keen on signing 24-year-old La Liga forward

Real Madrid and Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Real Sociedad's Mikel Oyarzabal this summer.

Mikel Oyarzabal is becoming a hot property ahead of the summer transfer window,

according to Spanish outlet El Gol Digital. Real Madrid, Manchester United, and PSG have all shown an interest in the 24-year-old Real Sociedad forward.

Oyarzabal has been with Real Sociedad since 2011 and made his first-team debut in 2015, at the age of 18. Since then, he has come a long way to establish himself as one of the best players in La Liga, and he is also one of La Real's captains.

Oyarzabal has made 236 appearances for Real Sociedad, with a total of 64 goals and 44 assists to show for his efforts.

However, as the summer transfer window approaches, there are some rumblings that he may be on his way out of the La Liga club. Real Madrid and Manchester United are both keeping a close watch on developments.

Real Madrid will undergo a team overhaul this summer as Zinedine Zidane attempts to reshape an aging squad, with many places in need of reinforcements.

Out wide, with Lucas Vazquez's future unclear, a spot could open up, though the Spaniard recently declined an offer from Atletico Madrid.

However, with Eden Hazard's injury troubles continuing and the likes of Marco Asensio, Rodrygo Goes, and Vinicius Jr. blowing hot and cold,

Real Madrid would be wise to sign a winger, rendering Oyarzabal a feasible target. Manchester United, on the other hand, may have found a long-needed compromise on the right-wing in the 24-year-old.

Manchester United is still interested in Jadon Sancho, as it was last season. However, the Red Devils seem to be keeping their options open this time around, which is why they have been associated with Ousmane Dembele, Pedro Neto, and others. And Oyarzabal is a viable choice as well, as he is equally adept at playing on the right and left wings.

Aside from Real Madrid and Manchester United, PSG and Barcelona have also shown an interest in the Spanish international. With the race to sign the 24-year-old heating up, it will be important to see if he stays in La Liga or ventures abroad.
