Real Madrid set €25m-€30m price for midfielder at Arsenal

Real Madrid has set a €25-€30 million price tag for Arsenal's midfielder.

Dani Ceballos will be a guy on the run this summer, and he'll most definitely make two.

He will return to Real Madrid at the end of his two-year loan with Arsenal, but the Spaniards have no intention of keeping him, and it's easy to see why.

As a result, they assume they will get between €25 million and €30 million for him as they look to bolster their squad with players Zinedine Zidane actually likes.

According to Transfermarkt, Ceballos is worth £27 million, but you'd be irritated if you had to watch him play week in and week out. Apart from a strong showing when football resumed after the first lockdown, his time at Arsenal has been mediocre at best.

Two goals and five assists in 76 games over two seasons isn't the greatest marketing.

Ceballos was confirmed last week to want to return to Spain, where he believes the football suits him better, and it wouldn't surprise me if he showed up at Villarreal with Unai Emery.

Emery was the one who took him to Arsenal in the first place, swooping in after a meeting with Tottenham. Villarreal was also interested in signing him until Arsenal extended his loan agreement last summer.

Furthermore, given Ceballos' performance in the first leg of the Europa League semi-final, he has no doubt reminded Emery of how much he likes the midfielder.
