REPORT: £30M PLAYER HANDS IN TRANSFER REQUEST, REPORTEDLY WANTS TO JOIN ARSENAL

The transfer of Yves Bissouma to Arsenal has reportedly become a little more probable.

The Daily Star announced last week that Arsenal were favorites to sign the Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder ahead of their Premier League rivals.

Football London reported earlier this year that the 24-year-old had his heart set on a move to the Emirates Stadium.

And there has been a new development that benefits Arsenal, assuming they are truly involved.

According to The Times, Bissouma has requested permission to quit the Seagulls at the end of the season.

Albion only has three Premier League games remaining, but if The Times is right, Bissouma is already thinking about life after the Amex Stadium.

If it occurs, it is unquestionably a positive signing.

The £30 million-rated midfielder possesses the dynamism and versatility that Granit Xhaka and Mohamed Elneny sorely lack.

Following a £45 million transfer from Atletico Madrid in October, Thomas Partey has not had a particularly successful first season in North London.

However, the big Ghana international may and most likely would benefit greatly from playing alongside Bissouma.

Xhaka has his strengths, but he also has his flaws, and it's possible that the former Atletico Madrid powerhouse will do better with a quicker midfield partner.
