The additions of winger Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund and goalkeeper Tom Heaton from Aston Villa have already been confirmed by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side.

The club is expected to continue to pursue fresh signings this summer, with midfield and right-back positions likely to be prioritized for increased squad depth.

With that in mind, Mirror Football presents you the most recent Old Trafford transfer action.

Manchester United's most pressing issue looks to be the future of star midfielder Paul Pogba, whose contract expires next summer.

Following his great performances at Euro 2020, the France international star is poised to return to training ahead of the new season, but his future is uncertain.

PSG are reportedly interested in signing Pogba this summer, and United must decide whether to sell him, offer him a new contract, or risk losing him as a free agent next summer.

According to Eurosport, the midfielder is unwilling to make the situation any simpler by making a clear choice on his future until next summer.

Pogba is thought to want to leave his options open because his preferred destination would not be the French capital, despite the club's willingness to pay £45 million for the player this summer.

Real Madrid and Juventus, Pogba's former club, are unlikely to bankroll any approach this summer, thus this issue may go beyond the transfer season.
